Words of Inspiration and Motivation

" In the good years, work very hard to win everything that's possibly winnable.  In the bad years, work just as hard to keep you losses to a minimum.  There are good times, and there are bad times.  But you have to stay in the game." - Edward Zigler

"If you want to provide rich opportunity for the development of language skills, then encourage dramatic play- a place where you'll really see children's language grow and thrive." - Deborah Leong

"Children are still trying to figure out their identity.  They are still being bombarded with positive and negative messages." - Louise Derman Sparks

" We are professionals in the early childhood field have an opportunity to shape a child's life for the better." - Sandy Escobido

  1. I really love Zigler's quote. It is so true as hard as it may be you got to just hang in there!
I had never heard Deborah Leong's quote, but its insprational. Sparks says it very well, kids dont know who they are yet. My favorite though is your last quaote by Escobido. As an Early Childhood Teacher, it makes me smile. :D

  2. I thought your quote from Louise Derman Sparks was especially truthful in my perspective. Sometimes, I do forget children are trying to find out their strengths and weaknesses. They need help with their decisions and trying work out what positive and negative reinforcements are.

I too appreciated the quote from Sandy Escobido in my quotes. I really enjoyed your contribution-Thanks

  3. It is true that it is very educational for children during dramatic play activities. I love to watch children develop their language skills while playing together. Even young children enjoy the interaction with other children and expressing themselves in creative ways.
